Carlota Pérez de Castro (Madrid, 1998) is a multidisciplinary artist known for her deep exploration of rhythm, movement, and plasticity through painting. While she integrates body painting and performance into her practice, her pictorial work remains the central axis of her artistic research, where each stroke becomes a study of gesture and the vibration inherent in the act of painting. Since childhood, Carlota has cultivated an intimate relationship with color and form, developing a visual language that fluidly shifts between figuration and abstraction. Her work transcends mere aesthetics, transforming into a dynamic space where color and form engage in dialogue with emotion and movement, advocating for abstract painting as a powerful medium to express the ineffable.

Recognized as the youngest artist to exhibit at the Palacio de Cibeles and the founder of the movement Exposición Andante, she has brought her innovative approach to international stages in cities such as New York, Seoul, and Milan, challenging the boundaries of contemporary art. Her career includes exhibitions in emblematic spaces such as the Miró Foundation, the Palacio de Cibeles, and the Conde Duque Museum. Additionally, she has performed at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia and has collaborated on prominent projects such as SantaClara in Menorca and Madrid Design Week, always placing the power and dynamism of painting at the center of her creative practice.
